Accessibility statement
AEVAC wants everyone to be able to use this website, including with a screen reader, with a keyboard alone, with zoom or in high contrast.
Goal
The goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, levels A and AA. A full audit with users and screen readers has not been carried out yet, so we do not claim conformance.
What we have checked
- Contrast of every colour pair, in light and dark mode, with a script that fails if any pair falls below the minimum.
- One main heading per page, heading order, page language, alternative text for every image and unique page landmarks, using an automatic validator.
- Keyboard use of the menu, the filters and the forms.
What is missing
- Tests with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) carried out by users.
- Captions and audio description for the linked videos.
- Older blog articles are migrated as they were.
Tell us if something does not work
Write to us at info@aevac.org. It helps us to know which page you were on, what you were trying to do and which browser or screen reader you were using.
