Cookies installed by this site
This site installs a single first-party cookie, of a technical nature:
cdp_cookie_consent: stores the choice you make in the cookie notice (accept, reject or configure) so that we do not ask you again on every page. It is created when you choose an option and lasts one year. It is necessary to respect your decision.
AEVAC does not use analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies. The YouTube videos embedded in some posts may install YouTube cookies, which are described in the next section.
Third-party services
The pages of the site load services from other companies. When they do, your browser connects to their servers, which receive technical connection data, such as your IP address. The site's typeface is served from the aevac.org server itself.
- Google reCAPTCHA, by Google: a service designed to protect the site's forms against automated submissions and spam. It is loaded on all pages. The processing of the data Google receives is governed by Google's privacy policy and its cookie information.
- Gravatar, by Automattic: shows the author's photo in blog posts. It is loaded on posts. In our tests it did not install cookies. Data processing is governed by Automattic's privacy policy.
- YouTube, by Google: plays the videos embedded in some posts. It is loaded only on posts that have a video, and may install its own cookies, including
YSCandVISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, which YouTube uses to measure playback and remember preferences. Processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.
How to manage cookies
If you have not yet chosen, when you enter the site a notice appears with the buttons "Accept", "Reject" and "Configure". Your choice does not change what is loaded: the categories shown under "Configure" have no cookie or service attached, and the third-party services described above are loaded all the same. You can change your choice at any time afterwards with the "Cookies" button at the bottom of the screen.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you delete or block the technical cookie, the notice will appear again.
