What it is
protects its systems against attacks and protects the data it generates, including that of the people travelling.
Why it matters
A connected vehicle is also a computer on the street. A computer security failure can be a road safety failure.
What we do at AEVAC
- In SELFY, where AEVAC was a participant until the end of the project in 2025, we led the and social sciences task: surveys, identification of critical cybersecurity and standards, and workshops with the FAME and CONNECT projects.
- SELFY developed collaborative cybersecurity and resilience tools for connected and automated vehicles. That technical development belongs to the consortium as a whole. Source: 101069748, SELFY on CORDIS
- We have worked with INCIBE (Spain's national cybersecurity institute) on cybersecurity.
- The roadmap we published in 2021 is the basis in SELFY for identifying cybersecurity and accessibility standards.
